StatiBot does not require any particular software component or hardware. All you need is an internet browser such as the one you are using to view this page.

The application has been tested on Internet Explorer 5.0 under Windows. No part of the statistical functionality of StatiBot, however, depends in any way on the browser or operating system installed.

With other browsers or operating systems (older versions of Internet Explorer, Netscape, Macintosh, etc.), minor differences in presentation are possible. These will not affect the decisions and calculations themselves.

Small restrictions regarding user-friendliness exist with browsers that do not support JavaScript. To give an example, this is true for the forward button that should be focussed automatically and allows you to advance by simply hitting the enter key. Furthermore, the backward button only works if your browser keeps track of the history of your internet session.
